FSFN Question Spotlight
Q: Is there a way to indicate that the Foster Parent information is CONFIDENTIAL when creating the Out of Home Plan?
A: No there is not.  Per F.S. 409.175 (16)(b), the Foster Parent information is confidential and can not be shared. Prior to filing the Out of Home Plan with the court as attachments to the Case Plans and the Judicial Review Social Study Reports, the Foster Parent information will need to be redacted. Security around this information for Relative and Non Relative providers must also be considered if security is an issue with the placement.
