Teen Dating Violence Awareness

Dating abuse is a public health issue that affects people from all ages, backgrounds, and identities. However, among people who experience sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking, most experienced that violence for the first time before the age of 25. (CDC)

In fact, 1 in 3 young people experience some form of physical or sexual violence.

It is vitally important that we specifically speak to and understand the statistics involved with abuse in young people’s relationships.
