January is Dental Awareness Month

Oral health is very important however, it is often overlooked. Most people take for granted the health and development of their mouth and teeth yet, it has been made evident that these two are as important as any other part of the body. It is never too early to visit the dentist for your child’s first dental checkup. Around 28% of preschoolers have cavities, with pediatric dental disease being the number one chronic childhood disease. (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry)

By regularly taking children to the dentist, you can help with nutrition, fight bacterial infections, and prevent emergency surgery.
