Tourette Syndrome is part of a spectrum of hereditary, childhood onset, neurodevelopmental conditions referred to as tic disorders that affect children and adults, causing them to make sudden, involuntary movements and/or sounds called tics which wax and wane and can change unpredictably. This webinar for Child Welfare Professionals and Caregivers will help build an understanding of Tourette Syndrome and provide information so attendees can better recognize tics as a neurodevelopmental disorder, identify sources for services and support, and how to advocate for children and youth with Tourette Syndrome and guide them to advocate for themselves.
