It’s Hurricane Season – Are you Prepared?

Tell Us How We’re Doing!

June 1st marks the beginning of hurricane season. Don’t wait for a storm to prepare. Here are a few basic preparedness tips from Ready.gov:

·         Know where to go. If you are ordered to evacuate, know the local hurricane evacuation routes and have a plan for where to stay.

·         Put together a disaster supply kit, including a flashlight, batteries, cash, first aid supplies, and copies of your (and your children’s)  critical information if you need to evacuate.

·         Make a family emergency communication plan.

Visit Ready.gov/hurricanes for additional tips and detailed information.

The Center is continuously striving to better serve your needs. Reflecting on your personal experience using the Center’s Web Services, please respond to our monthly survey.
