HB 7013 Adoption Incentive Project

Webinar:  HB 7013 Adoption Incentive Project – Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) Functionality and Policy Updates for All Users.

Tuesday March 29, 9:30AM-4:30PM (EST), 12:00PM-1:00PM Lunch Break


This training will be offered to provide policy and practice guidelines for updates associated with House Bill 7013 Adoption and Foster Care within Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN). New Enhancements that will impact Case Management Staff, Child Protection Investigators and Adult Investigators will be discussed at the beginning of the webinar; Adoption, licensing and Fiscal Workers are encouraged to participate in the entire webinar.

New Answers to FAQs, including:

·         Can you provide clarification regarding timeframes for referrals for services to be submitted after receipt of the CBHA as well as difference between a CBHA and behavior health assessment. In CFOP 155-10 the time frame indicates that within 7 business days referrals are to be submitted after receipt of behavior health assessments. Whereas admin code 65C-28.014 states referrals are required within 30 days of receipt of the CBHA.

The Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI), College of Behavioral and Community Sciences, University of South Florida (USF) invites applications for the position of Program Director for our Child Welfare Training Consortium. The Training Consortium (TC) develops, designs, and delivers training and consultation focusing on the delivery of human services particularly in the area of Child Welfare. The TC is funded entirely by external funding (contracts/grants) with a current annual budget of $2.5M.
