Serving and Protecting Children with

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Tell Us How We’re Doing!

Attend this Live Web Event: Serving and Protecting Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Tuesday, November 3, 2015 10:00AM-11:30AM(Eastern)

Current literature suggests children with disabilities including ASD appear to be at increased risk of abuse, neglect, and violence in part due to limited community awareness about ASD, difficulties in communication skills, and challenging behaviors. This presentation will illuminate risk factors for abuse and neglect as well as discuss strategies to assist in the investigation of abuse involving young children and families impacted by ASD.
